The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rikki tries for a takedown but Sudennahka sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Rikki closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sudennahka did well to prevent Rikki getting side control.
Sudennahka moves into full guard.
Rikki stopping the sweep attempt from Sudennahka.
Sudennahka bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rikki's guard.
Sudennahka wants to control from the top but Rikki keeps moving.
Sudennahka not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Rikki is looking for a triangle but Sudennahka pushes his legs off easily.

Sudennahka stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Rikki shoots for a double leg takedown but Sudennahka sprawls well. He's pushed Rikki's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Rikki tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sudennahka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rikki somewhat.
Jakke Sudennahka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Riku Rikki.

Sudennahka looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Sudennahka frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Rikki keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Rikki looks gassed!

Sudennahka working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Rikki looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Sudennahka! Submission of the night perhaps?
