The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colvin on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Richards rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Colvin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Colvin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Richards as he jumps to the side.

Richards throws a body kick that misses.
Richards throws a nice looking combination but Colvin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Colvin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Colvin avoids the body shot from Richards.
Colvin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Richards ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A head kick misses from Richards.
Richards misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Richards steps into range and cracks Colvin with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Colvin flops backwards and Richards dives into his guard looking to finish!

Richards has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Colvin is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Richards yanks on the arm and Colvin is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Richards.
