Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jo Banza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocket Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jo Banza has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone fails in his attempt to clinch.
Stone uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Banza is defended easily by Stone.

Stone fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Banza sprawls well initially but Stone persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Stone uses his free foot to push down on Banza's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Banza.

Stone has hold of Banza's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Banza manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Stone won't let Banza get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Banza is looking to get to half guard.
Stone can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Banza is looking to escape.
Stone is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Banza tries to lock up and control but Stone gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Banza reaches up to try and control the position but Stone seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Banza rolls and tries to escape and now Stone has his back!

Banza is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Stone is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Banza with him. Banza is trying to defend but Stone has an arm under the chin now! Banza grimaces and is forced to tap out!
