Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sam Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon Bairstow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stout's entrance music is Back in Black - AC/DC. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Devon Bairstow!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Bairstow or perhaps it was just good defense by Stout which made him look bad.
Bairstow shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stout as he avoids it easily.

Bairstow takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Devon Bairstow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bairstow bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Stout's head backwards.
Bairstow lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bairstow slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Bairstow is trying to trip Stout. He has hold of a leg but Stout is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bairstow persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Stout is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bairstow defends well.

Bairstow gets to his feet. Stout looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
