Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, KK Kaytovitch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Murilo Fyster!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fyster misses with a looping left.
Fyster misses with a straight right.

Kaytovitch gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fyster to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Fyster loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Fyster trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Kaytovitch manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Kaytovitch will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kaytovitch won't allow Fyster to get back to his feet.
Fyster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kaytovitch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fyster not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kaytovitch wants to control from the top but Fyster keeps moving.

Kaytovitch drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fyster looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fyster looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fyster!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fyster trying to control the action but Kaytovitch is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fyster tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kaytovitch's legs.
Kaytovitch manages to get back to half guard.
Fyster looks to land a strike but Kaytovitch avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Kaytovitch wants to sweep but no luck.
Fyster thows a big elbow that misses.
Fyster with a nice head shot there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kaytovitch lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Fyster!
Fyster is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Fyster tries to improve his position but Kaytovitch has taken his back! Kaytovitch has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Fyster tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Kaytovitch pushes Fyster away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). KK Kaytovitch!
