Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harry Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Dover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Dover's choice of entrance music: All I have to give. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dover is looking to clinch but Armstrong is avoiding it.

Dover shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Dover wants to lay and pray for a moment but Armstrong keeps working.

Dover is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Armstrong doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dover.

Dover is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Armstrong is just riding it out for now. Dover eventually gives up the hold.

Armstrong has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dover is working away from the top position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Dover pushes Armstrong off and scrambles back to his feet.

Ben Dover seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Armstrong looking to sit in guard and control but Dover gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Dover decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Armstrong has had enough of the clinch but Dover keeps him there for the moment.

Armstrong has his foot on Dover's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dover works his way back into a safe position though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dover is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Armstrong is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Armstrong has escaped and now he's on top!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Dover manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Armstrong manages to get himself to full guard.
Dover would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Dover postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Armstrong is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dover, into his guard.
Armstrong slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Dover manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Armstrong holds on to Dover around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks.

Dover goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Armstrong is on top in guard.

Armstrong has gone for a leg lock! Dover slips out almost immediately though and dives into Armstrong's guard.

Dover is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close second round but I would say that Harry Armstrong will probably get the nod.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Dover fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Armstrong sprawls well initially but Dover persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well Dover has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
