Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Manny Brooks was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brooks throws a series of punches but Payne moves out of range.

Brooks throws a right and a left that Payne avoids nicely.
Payne fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Payne or perhaps it was just good defense by Brooks which made him look bad.
Brooks throws a nice looking combination but Payne bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Payne tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brooks sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Payne somewhat.
Payne tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brooks paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Payne is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Payne goes for a takedown in the clinch but Brooks prevents it.
Brooks lands a right hand that snaps the head of Payne backwards.
Payne tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Payne tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Brooks just stands there and leans against the cage.
Brooks has had enough of the clinch but Payne keeps him there for the moment.

Payne is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Payne has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Brooks uses from the top position.
