Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damien Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borg Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bring Da Ruckus. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Silva shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hanson's guard.

Silva seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Silva tries to free his leg and advance position but Hanson is retaining full guard.

Silva has gone for a leg lock! Hanson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Silva's guard.

Silva wants to stand and escape but Hanson is having none of it.
Hanson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Silva has his foot on Hanson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hanson works his way back into a safe position though.

Silva is working an open guard so Hanson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Hanson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Silva shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hanson as he avoids it easily.

Silva throws a low kick but Hanson avoids it.
Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hanson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hanson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Silva counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hanson won't be happy with that.

Silva is trying to get an arm triangle but Hanson is defending well.

Silva has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Hanson is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Silva yanks on the arm and Hanson is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Silva.
