Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Herbie Hide!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Copper throws a half hearted mid kick.
Hide has Copper up against the cage in a clinch.
Hide escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Copper missing with a left hand there. Hide was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Copper moves into the clinch.
Copper manages to break the clinch.
Hide feints and as Copper raises his hands in defense, Hide changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Copper working a defensive guard but Hide manages to pass into side control anyway.
Hide tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Copper is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Copper tries to bench press Hide off him but Hide keeps the position.
Hide has control of an arm but Copper manages to advance to Hide's back!
Copper is not going to allow Hide to sit and survive in this position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Copper has Hide flattened out and is raining down punches.
Copper throwing strikes and Hide squirms under the pressure, ending up mounted.
Hide tries to hold on but Copper postures up.
Copper is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hide has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hide!
Hide lands a couple of elbows.
Copper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hide. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hide is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Hide pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Copper is keeping the position for now.

Copper has momentary wrist control but Hide slips an elbow through the middle.
Hide looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Copper wants to sweep here but Hide controlling him for the moment.
Hide trying to control but Copper is working from the bottom.

Copper wants to stand and escape but Hide is having none of it.
Copper has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Hide has passed into side control.
Hide scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Copper to see if he's OK.

Copper is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Copper looks gassed!
Hide working the ground and pound from side control.
Hide has hold of Copper's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Copper seems comfortable defending it but Hide has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Copper is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Copper is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hide couldn't care less - he's delighted!
