Blais comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Metallica - One kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jean Sebastien Blais has the better chin. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Blais controls Batchiska momentarily but Batchiska frees himself.

That was a close round but I would say that Niko Batchiska will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Blais had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Batchiska is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Blais Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Batchiska's back instead.

Blais has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Batchiska has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Batchiska wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blais keeps working.
Batchiska looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
