Armstrong comes to the cage accompanied by O Let's Do It. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrae Armstrong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Franciszek Brzeszczyszczykiewicz!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brzeszczyszczykiewicz clinches up against the cage.
Armstrong misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Brzeszczyszczykiewicz.
Armstrong changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Brzeszczyszczykiewicz fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Brzeszczyszczykiewicz moves into the clinch successfully.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Brzeszczyszczykiewicz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Armstrong's guard.

Armstrong wants to get back to his feet.
Still in half guard, Brzeszczyszczykiewicz seems content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Armstrong knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brzeszczyszczykiewicz on the ground.

Franciszek Brzeszczyszczykiewicz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
