Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between The pit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, The pit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Bradley!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Eddie Farnsworth and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
pit throws a head kick that half lands.


It looks like Kyle Bradley has been cut.
Bradley looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Bradley leaves pit with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bradley has his takedown stuffed

and pit moves into the clinch.
Bradley is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Bradley is trying to force a seperation but pit has the dominant position.

pit has Bradley pressed against the cage.

pit gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Bradley regains guard.
pit postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
pit has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
pit lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
pit seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

pit wants to control from the top but Bradley keeps moving.

pit is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

pit landing some decent shots from guard.
pit with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
pit thows a big elbow that misses.
pit postures up and lands a big shot to Bradley's brow.
Bradley striking off his back but it's not causing pit any problems.

pit keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bradley's head.

pit working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Bradley is looking for a triangle but pit pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
pit controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bradley is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
pit trying to control but Bradley is working from the bottom.

pit gets to his feet - Bradley follows without any prompting.

pit drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
pit postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Bradley wants to sweep but no luck.
pit works over Bradley with some ground and pound from guard.
Bradley thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
pit will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

pit thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
pit missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells pit's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
pit shoots in for a takedown but Bradley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

No joy there for Bradley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Excellent takedown into side control there by pit.
Bradley is trying to control pit's posture but pit avoids it.
Bradley manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Bradley stops pit from getting back to his feet.
pit tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Bradley lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
pit is trying to stand back up but Bradley is controlling him
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The pit dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Kyle Bradley's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Bradley gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and pit counters by moving into the clinch.
Bradley misses with an elbow strike.
pit drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bradley pulls his leg out and moves away.

pit closes the distance and pushes Bradley back into the cage.
pit tries for a takedown. No joy.
pit jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bradley walks away with a smile on his face. pit gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The pit. That's going to take a lot out of him.
pit scores with a body shot.
pit fails with the takedown.
pit tries to close the distance and clinch but Bradley swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
pit tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

pit fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bradley, pushing him back against the cage.
Bradley drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
pit lands a good knee to the midsection. Bradley won't want to take too many of those.

pit manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Bradley with a flurry of punches that miss.
pit is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
pit is really struggling to control Bradley but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Bradley thows a big elbow that misses.
pit striking from the bottom.
Bradley postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
pit throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bradley closes the distance and lands a one-two.
pit lands a head kick. Bradley smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from pit is defended easily by Bradley.

Bradley gets the takedown into side control.

A lull in the action here as Bradley stalls from top position.
Bradley creates some space and throws a big elbow, but pit sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
pit is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bradley asserts his dominance and retains side control.
pit is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bradley's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Bradley thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed pit's head.

pit looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Bradley prevents pit from improving his position.

Bradley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and pit defends it well.
pit makes his way to full guard. A much better position for pit.

pit has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bradley off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

and pit counters with a flying knee. Nice.
pit shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bradley throws a combination that misses

and pit holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Bradley breaks the clinch.

Bradley swats away the attempt to clinch by pit.

pit shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bradley is trying to defend but pit finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Bradley throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
pit prevents Bradley from improving his position.
pit working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Bradley misses with some strikes from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bradley can do anything to dispel that myth.

pit working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Bradley looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by pit! Submission of the night perhaps?
