Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between jared wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Robert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robert doesn't manage to clinch there - wagner circles away.

wagner closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Robert to the mat! Robert manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Robert tries to close the distance and clinch but wagner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rich Robert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

wagner fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Robert sprawls well initially but wagner persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

wagner is looking for a kimura but Robert is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for wagner to get the leverage.

That was a close round but I would say that jared wagner will probably get the nod.
