Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from husssain is defended easily by Rua.
husssain avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
husssain shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rua manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Rua wants to get back to his feet but husssain is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
husssain is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

husssain has gone for a leg lock! Rua slips out almost immediately though and dives into husssain's guard.

Rua drives through and clinches with husssain against the cage.
husssain turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and husssain manages to end up in side control.
Rua sneaks out the side door and pushes husssain away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

husssain wants to control the pace but Rua is squirming around nicely.
husssain swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Rua is now in husssain's guard. A big mistake from husssain there, giving up the dominant position!

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!
Rua clinches but husssain breaks the clinch
and husssain counters with a nice double leg into guard.
husssain slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
husssain wants to pass the guard but Rua is keeping the position.
husssain throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rua works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Rua wants to get back to his feet but husssain passes into half guard.
Rua takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
husssain missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
husssain prevents Rua from standing back up.
husssain wants to work for an arm triangle but Rua is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rua is trying to stand back up but husssain is controlling him
Rua is trying to defend against the ground and pound but husssain scores with a couple of nice shots.
husssain working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

husssain lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
husssain is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Rua is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Rua flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. husssain anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Rua and secures both hooks! This could be bad! husssain slips an arm under Rua chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. husssain has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. husssain is squeezing on Rua like an anaconda would it's prey. Rua fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
