Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary The Hitman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordy Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Hitman's entrance music is Jay Z - Run This Town. A fine choice. Jefferson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Know your enemy. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jefferson throws a series of punches but The Hitman moves out of range.
Gordy Jefferson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jefferson throws a right and a left that both miss.
The Hitman tries to clinch there but Jefferson circles away.
Jefferson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. The Hitman sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and The Hitman counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The Hitman has gone for a leg lock! Jefferson slips out almost immediately though and dives into The Hitman's guard.

The Hitman goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Jefferson is on top in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The Hitman controls Jefferson momentarily but Jefferson frees himself.

The Hitman had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jefferson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. The Hitman Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jefferson's back instead.

Jefferson won't enjoy being in this position. The Hitman looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Jefferson is tapping - it's over boys! The Hitman picks up the submission victory!
