Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bean pole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Stapleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stapleton has chosen Hear What I Say as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Bean pole! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, David Stapleton! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A thudding body kick lands there by pole!
pole tries for a takedown but Stapleton sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. No luck with that takedown attempt from Stapleton. pole clinches with his opponent.

Stapleton has picked pole up - he's going for a ride! Stapleton dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. pole really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. pole misses with some strikes from the bottom.
pole actively working from the bottom here. Stapleton trying to control from half guard but pole is working away. pole is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Stapleton's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Stapleton's back! pole has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Stapleton defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of pole's arms. pole will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Stapleton is having to fend off submission attempts from pole, who is looking to sink in the choke. pole doesn't have the hooks in though and Stapleton manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. pole has his foot on Stapleton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stapleton works his way back into a safe position though. Stapleton stands up over pole, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Stapleton passes into half guard. Stapleton passes to full mount! Stapleton wants to control the pace but pole is squirming around nicely. pole throwing hammer fists to the chest of Stapleton. What's that going to do exactly? Stapleton lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
pole can't escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stapleton takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. pole takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! pole flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
pole is trying desperately to improve position. pole swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. pole is working to get back to half guard.
Stapleton wants to finish this one by submission but pole is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Stapleton. pole in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. pole regains half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. pole manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stapleton throwing strikes from guard but pole blocks nicely. Stapleton thows a big elbow that misses. pole throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
pole keeping moving, preventing Stapleton from controlling successfully. Stapleton postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. pole looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Stapleton passes into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stapleton tries to move to mount but pole blocks the move with his legs. The ground and pound from Stapleton seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. pole manages to get back to half guard. pole is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Stapleton is tapping! Great win for pole!
