Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Ohko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orlando Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ohko comes to the cage accompanied by Mama Said Knock You Out. The crowd seem to be enjoying Sackett's choice of entrance music: Whoomp There it is. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tommy Ohko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Orlando Sackett!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sackett throws a leg kick but Ohko moved away.
Ohko wants to clinch.
Sackett's corner calls for a 1-2. Sackett obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Ohko showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sackett.
Ohko just misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ohko drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Sackett looks to score with a jab to the body but Ohko is just out of range.
Ohko is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sackett sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Sackett gets in close and instigates a clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Sackett throws an elbow but misses.
Ohko is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Sackett is keeping busy.

Sackett's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Sackett counters with a good, hard body kick but Ohko shrugs it off.
Ohko scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Ohko takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Sackett clinches up against the cage.

Ohko breaks from the clinch.
Sackett moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ohko lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ohko looks to clinch
and Sackett counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ohko moves out of range as Sackett strikes.
The fighters circling - Sackett throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ohko dodges the punch combination from Sackett.

Sackett throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ohko.

Sackett slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Sackett keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ohko takes one on the button.

Sackett instigates a clinch.
Sackett lands a shoulder strike.
Sackett lands a damaging elbow.


It looks like Tommy Ohko has been cut.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sackett lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Ohko.
Sackett is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Ohko is breathing heavily.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Sackett obliges.
Sackett scores a nice knee to the body.
Sackett goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ohko prevents it.
Sackett throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ohko blocks it with crossed arms.

Sackett goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Ohko misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sackett.
Tommy Ohko is winning the standup battle so far.
Ohko misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sackett throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sackett throws a body punch but Ohko moves out of range.
Ohko shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Sackett counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ohko's guard now.
Sackett prevents Ohko from getting back to his feet.
Sackett tries to free his leg and advance position but Ohko is retaining full guard.
Sackett passes into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sackett is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Sackett stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ohko swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ohko preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Ohko is trying to keep Sackett in close.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A jab from Ohko misses.
Sackett throws the left hand but Ohko avoids the punch easily.
A chopping leg kick lands by Sackett.

Ohko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ohko throws a nice looking combination but Sackett bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ohko scores with the left hand. Sackett knows he should have avoided that one.
Ohko throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ohko slips a jab and a cross from Sackett.
Sackett throws a head kick that misses.
Some wild striking there from Sackett.
Sackett steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ohko.

Sackett shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ohko as he jumps to the side.
Ohko is looking to wear down Sackett with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Ohko throws a right and a left that both miss.

and Ohko counters by moving into the clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Sackett throws an elbow but misses.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Sackett just misses with a elbow thrown towards Ohko's brow.
Sackett lands a nice elbow.
Ohko takes a knee to the side of the body.
Ohko has Sackett pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sackett manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Ohko takes an elbow to the forehead.
Sackett gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.


Tommy Ohko's cut is getting worse.
Sackett putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Ohko in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sackett creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Ohko's defenses.

Sackett jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ohko walks away with a smile on his face. Sackett gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Orlando Sackett showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Ohko's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Sackett darts in and clinches Ohko up against the cage.
Ohko has had enough of the clinch but Sackett keeps him there for the moment.

Ohko swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Ohko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sackett throws out the jab.

so Sackett counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Sackett stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ohko swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ohko has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sackett accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Sackett drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ohko dives on top into guard.
Sackett is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Sackett lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ohko!

Sackett has control of Ohko's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ohko regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Sackett takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Sackett lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Tommy Ohko has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Ohko on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ohko tries to get out of the position.
Sackett misses with a head shot. Ohko uses the momentum to regain guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Sackett has gone for a leg lock! Ohko slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sackett's guard.
Orlando Sackett is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Ohko working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Sackett's head.
Sackett is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sackett throws his legs up looking for a submission but Ohko uses it to pass to side control.
Sackett manages to work his way to half guard, despite Ohko's best efforts.
Sackett wants to improve his position but Ohko is controlling well.
Ohko lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Orlando Sackett.
I've got Sackett winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
