Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rick Rolled (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pikku Hiawatha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hiawatha's choice of entrance music: The Gael. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rick Rolled!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pikku Hiawatha!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Hiawatha misses.

Hiawatha changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rolled looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rolled wants to control but Hiawatha postures up.

Hiawatha tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hiawatha has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rolled wants to get back to his feet.
Rolled tries to improve position but can't.

Hiawatha looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Rolled struggling a bit here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hiawatha creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Rolled sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hiawatha has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Rolled!
Hiawatha wants to take Rolled's back but he can't do it this time.
Rolled wants to control but Hiawatha is having none of it.

Hiawatha working for a submission but Rolled is keeping him at bay.
Hiawatha pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Rolled is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Rolled is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Hiawatha swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Rolled is now in Hiawatha's guard. A big mistake from Hiawatha there, giving up the dominant position!

Hiawatha has a closed guard, preventing Rolled from standing up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hiawatha is on top in guard.
Hiawatha trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Hiawatha pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rolled is keeping the position for now.
Rolled throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Hiawatha passes Rolled's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Hiawatha winds up and cracks Rolled with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Hiawatha trying to mount his opponent but Rolled defends it.
Rolled is trying to get back to full guard.

Hiawatha stops Rolled from getting back to his feet.
Rolled wants to control but Hiawatha is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Rolled tries to roll over but Hiawatha keeps him under control.

Hiawatha is looking for a kimura but Rolled is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hiawatha to get the leverage.
Rolled is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Hiawatha jumps into side control!
Rolled takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Hiawatha tries to advance to mount but Rolled denies him.
Rolled tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Hiawatha easily slips into full mount!
Hiawatha has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hiawatha has hold of Rolled's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rolled manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Hiawatha looks gassed!
Rolled tries to hold on but Hiawatha postures up.
Rolled is controlling an arm, preventing Hiawatha from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Rolled wants to hold on but Hiawatha pushes him away.

Hiawatha is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Rolled has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Rolled tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pikku Hiawatha dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Rolled tries to clinch up.
Hiawatha fails with the takedown.
Rolled is looking to clinch but Hiawatha is avoiding it.

Hiawatha closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Rolled tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hiawatha wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Hiawatha looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Rolled wants to control but Hiawatha postures up.
Rolled is looking to regain half guard here but Hiawatha keeps moving and retains side control.

Hiawatha tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Hiawatha gets to mount! Rolled was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Rolled is wriggling around trying to escape.
Rolled tries to hold on but Hiawatha pushes him away.
Rolled is working to get back to half guard.
Rolled is in a horrible position here. Hiawatha smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Rolled in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Rolled is trying to escape the mount.
BOOM! Hiawatha connects with a massive shot to the dome!


Rolled is rocked!
Hiawatha avoids the attempt from Rolled to control.
Hiawatha pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Oh Rolled is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hiawatha in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Rolled is looking to improve his position but Hiawatha isn't that keen on the idea.
Rolled seems to have got his legs back now.

Hiawatha looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Hiawatha is working for a guillotine from mount but Rolled frees his head quite easily.
Rolled manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Hiawatha sitting and controlling from the half guard.

Hiawatha is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rolled doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hiawatha.
Rolled is trying to control but can't.

Rolled is looking for a sweep. Hiawatha is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hiawatha trying to mount his opponent but Rolled defends it.

Hiawatha is looking for a kimura here.
Rolled missing with punches from the bottom.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rolled manages to get to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pikku Hiawatha showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Hiawatha is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Rolled is surviving well by controlling Hiawatha's body position as best he can.
Hiawatha takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Rolled tries to lock up and control but Hiawatha gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Hiawatha is going olschool here, as he tries to force Rolled to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Rolled shrugs it off.
Hiawatha lands a nice shot to the head.
Rolled is looking to get to half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hiawatha is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Rolled is in real trouble.
Rolled looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Rolled is trying to stand back up.
Rolled tries to break free.

Rolled defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard.
Hiawatha working a defensive guard here.

Rolled has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hiawatha is proving hard to escape from.

Rolled avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Hiawatha is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rolled defends well.
Pikku Hiawatha is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Rolled thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Hiawatha is trying to control the position but Rolled postures up.

Hiawatha looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Rolled wants to pass the guard but Hiawatha is keeping the position.

Hiawatha throws his legs up looking for a submission but Rolled uses it to pass to side control.
Rolled trying to control the action but Hiawatha is working from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Hiawatha's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Rick Rolled has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Pikku Hiawatha comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Hiawatha winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
