Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reggie Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy McGreggor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reggie Bush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roy McGreggor!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Dean Styles and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGreggor moves in looking to clinch but Bush pushes him off.

Bush shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. McGreggor manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
McGreggor bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bush's guard.
McGreggor pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bush is keeping the position for now.

McGreggor postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bush is trying to control the position but McGreggor postures up.
McGreggor wants to stand and escape but instead Bush has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Bush won't allow McGreggor to sweep him here.
McGreggor not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bush advances to half guard.
McGreggor tries to get to full guard but Bush has control of the leg.

McGreggor throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Bush wants to work for an arm triangle but McGreggor is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Bush is looking for a kimura but McGreggor is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bush to get the leverage.
McGreggor is looking to improve his position.
McGreggor tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Bush has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
McGreggor tries to lock up and control but Bush gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bush goes for an armbar but McGreggor turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from McGreggor.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
McGreggor trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bush keeping moving, preventing McGreggor from controlling successfully.
McGreggor stopping the sweep attempt from Bush.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bush holds on and takes a little breather.
McGreggor would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Bush controls McGreggor momentarily but McGreggor frees himself.
McGreggor slips nicely into half guard.
Bush is trying to maintain the position but McGreggor is very close to passing his half guard.

Bush controls McGreggor momentarily but McGreggor frees himself.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
McGreggor won't allow Bush to sweep him here.
McGreggor must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
McGreggor is looking to clinch.

Bush shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McGreggor napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Bush staying calm.
Bush wants to control but McGreggor is keeping him busy.
Bush is breathing heavily.
McGreggor regains half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reggie Bush dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Bush looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

McGreggor has taken the fight to the clinch.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
McGreggor lands a knee to the body.
Bush tries to break free but McGreggor pushes him back against the cage.

McGreggor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
McGreggor throws a right hand that Bush ducks under and follows up with a left that Bush also avoids with ease.

Bush tries to keep at a distance but McGreggor has taken the fight into the clinch.

McGreggor manages to pull guard.
McGreggor is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

McGreggor tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
McGreggor controlling the action here.

McGreggor is looking to take a break and control but Bush is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McGreggor stands up and beckons Bush to join him on the feet.
Bush's corner calls for a 1-2. Bush obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
McGreggor is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Bush fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McGreggor, pushing him back against the cage.
Bush using the Thai plumb to throw knees but McGreggor has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

McGreggor is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

McGreggor wants the takedown. Bush is fighting it off but McGreggor persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bush's guard against the cage.

McGreggor wants to control from the top but Bush keeps moving.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
McGreggor shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so Bush counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Bush trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Bush stays in close to McGreggor's body and controls the position.

Bush decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roy McGreggor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


McGreggor misses with a takedown

and Bush decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in McGreggor's guard.
Bush slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
McGreggor looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Bush gets to his feet. McGreggor looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Bush is looking to clinch but McGreggor is avoiding it.

Bush bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
McGreggor wants to control but Bush postures up.
McGreggor looking for a sweep but Bush has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Bush trying to control but McGreggor is having none of it.
McGreggor tries to lock up and control but Bush gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

McGreggor flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Bush stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Reggie Bush is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bush changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McGreggor tries to avoid it but Bush manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McGreggor to the ground. McGreggor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

McGreggor looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

McGreggor is working for a submission of some sort.
Bush trying to hold on to McGreggor's head to control him but McGreggor postures up.

McGreggor misses with the ground and pound.
The ground and pound from McGreggor seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
McGreggor throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Bush holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
McGreggor is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Roy McGreggor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bush moves in looking to clinch but McGreggor pushes him off.

McGreggor closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bush fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bush tries to score a body lock takedown but McGreggor shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Reggie Bush. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bush breaks from the clinch.
Bush throws a sloppy head kick and McGreggor moves out of range easily.
McGreggor checks the leg kick nicely there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

McGreggor throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bush was covering up waiting for the punch and McGreggor finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bush looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bush can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McGreggor controls the pace.
McGreggor wants to pass the guard but Bush is keeping the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McGreggor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bush is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
McGreggor scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

And that's the end of the fight!
Reggie Bush showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Bush has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
