The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Misimovic has managed to clinch.
Bonilla is trying to drag Misimovic to the mat but Misimovic just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Misimovic manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Bonilla postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Misimovic is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bonilla, into his guard.
Misimovic has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Misimovic drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bonilla dives on top into guard.

Misimovic working for a triangle but Bonilla defends it easily.

Bonilla drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bonilla jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Bonilla is posturing up here but Misimovic has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bonilla tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bonilla has to tap! Slick submission there by Misimovic!
