Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cid Wakka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norfolk Enchance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wakka misses with a straight right.
Wakka moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Norfolk Enchance has been cut.
Wakka cracks Enchance with a good jab.
Wakka leaves Enchance with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Wakka throws a low kick but Enchance avoids it.

Enchance has closed the distance and engaged Wakka in a clinch.

Enchance decides to pull guard.
Wakka wants to stand but Enchance has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Wakka will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Enchance is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Wakka is looking to stand up but Enchance won't let him.

Wakka trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

That has opened up Norfolk Enchance's cut even more.

Enchance closes the distance and clinches up with Wakka, looking for a takedown. Enchance pushes Wakka against the cage but Wakka circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Wakka paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Enchance looks gassed!

Enchance shoots in for a takedown but Wakka shows good takedown defense.
Cid Wakka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Norfolk Enchance.
Wakka throws a nice looking combination but Enchance bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Enchance tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wakka paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nice uppercut there from Wakka.

The cut above Norfolk Enchance's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Enchance closes the distance and clinches up with Wakka, looking for a takedown. Enchance pushes Wakka against the cage but Wakka circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Enchance moves forwards but Wakka connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Wakka lands with a big left! Enchance is wobbled badly! Wakka comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Enchance to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
