Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Maldonado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demon Jin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maldonado comes to the cage accompanied by momma said knock you out. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Demon Jin enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vincent Maldonado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Demon Jin!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Maldonado misses.

Jin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jin is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Let's hope that Jin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
I looks like Jin might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Maldonado bucks up and tries to throw Jin off but instead Jin has got his back!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Demon Jin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Jin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Maldonado.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Maldonado, as that shot connected.

Jin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Maldonado to the mat! Maldonado manages to get full guard.
Jin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Maldonado tries to bum rush Jin with a series of wild strikes but Jin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Demon Jin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Jin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
