Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lance Yardstick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milo Dello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dello wants to clinch.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Dello.
Yardstick tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dello wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Yardstick sneaks back into half guard.
Yardstick has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dello is working away from the top position though.

Yardstick wants to get back to his feet but Dello is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Dello must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Dello stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yardstick swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Let's hope that Dello has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Dello is looking to take a break and control but Yardstick is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Despite being in the dominant position, Milo Dello just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Yardstick postures up in Dello's guard and throws a big left but Dello blocks it.
Dello has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Yardstick has passed into side control.

Yardstick goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dello has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Yardstick but great work by Dello.
Dello wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yardstick keeps working.

Dello decides to stand back up. Dello steps back and let's Yardstick get back to his feet.

Dello rushes Yardstick and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Yardstick has Dello pressed against the cage, preventing Dello from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Dello pulls guard successfully.

Dello had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Yardstick is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dello Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Yardstick's back instead.
Yardstick tries to roll but Dello sticks to his back.

Dello has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Yardstick is defending well but eventually Dello manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Yardstick has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
