Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kolkov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Steakworth to the mat! Steakworth manages to get full guard.
Kolkov working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Kolkov thows a big elbow that misses.
Steakworth preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Steakworth is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Steakworth with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Steakworth is looking to stall here but Kolkov recovers full guard.
Steakworth wants to control from the top but Kolkov keeps moving.

Steakworth drops back looking for a leg! Kolkov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kolkov manages to kick Steakworth off! Steakworth jumps back into Kolkov's guard.
Kolkov wants to get back to his feet but Steakworth is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Steakworth wants to control from the top but Kolkov keeps moving.
Steakworth sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kolkov's guard.

Kolkov pushes Steakworth off looking to stand but Steakworth dives back in and keeps control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Steakworth shoots in and drives through. Kolkov sprawls well.
Steakworth lands a nice hook to Kolkov's body. Kolkov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Steakworth misses with a double jab.
Kolkov motions for Steakworth to come forward. Kolkov throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Steakworth looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kolkov is looking for a sweep. Steakworth is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kolkov gets back to full guard.
Kolkov is breathing heavily.

Steakworth decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Alexei Kolkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steakworth displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
A punch lands to the side of Kolkov 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Steakworth fakes the leg kick and cracks Kolkov in the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Steakworth! Kolkov is out on his feet! Steakworth rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Kolkov is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Kolkov is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
