The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klotzk checks a leg kick nicely.
Klotzk bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Klotzk shoots for a double leg takedown but Odle sprawls well. He's pushed Klotzk's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Travis Odle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Odle tries to bum rush Klotzk with a series of wild strikes but Klotzk uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Klotzk had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Odle is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Klotzk Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Odle's back instead.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Odle might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Klotzk kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Odle lands a left and a right that send Klotzk crashing to the mat, dazed. Odle thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Klotzk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Odle cracks Klotzk with a left hook right on the temple and Klotzk goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Odle lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Klotzk is OK!
