The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turolla lands with a kick to the temple. Romppainen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Jaska Romppainen has been cut.
Turolla displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Romppainen.

Romppainen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Well, if Romppainen is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Turolla kicks Romppainen off and gets back to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Romppainen is defended easily by Turolla.
Turolla swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Romppainen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Romppainen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Turolla to the mat! Turolla manages to get full guard.
Turolla really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Romppainen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fight stays on the outside here - Turolla looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Romppainen is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Turolla is forced to tap! Great finish!
