Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Marko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Duquette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marko comes to the cage accompanied by Smash. Duquette is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Simple Man. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duquette throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Marko shoots in for a takedown but Duquette shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Marko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cain Marko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown by Marko or perhaps it was just good defense by Duquette which made him look bad.
Marko fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Duquette avoids it really well and circles away.
