Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Glebov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and gegard mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). mousasi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hi-Gate- Pitchin kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! gegard mousasi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, gegard mousasi!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Steve Montenegro and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Glebov closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. mousasi did well to prevent Glebov getting side control.
Glebov winds up and cracks mousasi with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Glebov tries to pass the half guard into mount. mousasi knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
mousasi is not content to let Glebov control the position.
Glebov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed mousasi's head.
mousasi wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
mousasi wants to control but Glebov is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Glebov wants to lay and pray for a moment but mousasi keeps working.
Glebov moves nicely into side control.
Glebov working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

It looks like gegard mousasi has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
mousasi pushes Glebov away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Glebov gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Glebov grinds an elbow into mousasi's temple.
Glebov lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
mousasi is trying to buck Glebov off.
mousasi is being controlled here.

mousasi takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Glebov happy to just control the position for now.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Glebov lands some shots froms side control.

That has opened up gegard mousasi's cut even more.
Glebov cracks mousasi with a big elbow.

The cut above gegard mousasi's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
mousasi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Glebov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Glebov scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at mousasi to see if he's OK.

gegard mousasi's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at gegard mousasi's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
