Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuhoaja throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zacarias.
Tuhoaja misses with a takedown attempt - Zacarias sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tuhoaja looks to land a combination but Zacarias avoids it well.
Zacarias looks to land a right hand but Tuhoaja moved out of range.
Tuhoaja shoots in but no luck this time.
Tuhoaja avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Tuhoaja tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zacarias sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tuhoaja somewhat.
Gilmer Zacarias has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Teppo Tuhoaja.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tuhoaja shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zacarias's guard.

Tuhoaja tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Zacarias can't do much from the bottom here.
Tuhoaja creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Zacarias sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Tuhoaja throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zacarias's waist but Zacarias gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tuhoaja off to one side.
Tuhoaja shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Zacarias ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tuhoaja moves away.
Tuhoaja looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Tuhoaja walks into a straight right hand from Zacarias.
Zacarias misses with a combination
and Tuhoaja counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Zacarias!
Tuhoaja moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Zacarias has worked his arm free - good work by Zacarias!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tuhoaja with the ground and pound but Zacarias regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Tuhoaja is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Zacarias wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gilmer Zacarias will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Zacarias throws a shot from downtown. Tuhoaja moves away and avoids it.
Teppo Tuhoaja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tuhoaja swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Zacarias counters with a crisp right hand that drops Tuhoaja! Zacarias lets Tuhoaja back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Teppo Tuhoaja has been cut.
Tuhoaja lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zacarias circles away quickly and effectively.
Zacarias misses with a looping left.
Zacarias lands with a nice body punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zacarias throws a sloppy head kick and Tuhoaja moves out of range easily.

Tuhoaja has his takedown stuffed
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Tuhoaja is breathing heavily.
Tuhoaja on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Zacarias. Zacarias obviously looking to wear him down.
Zacarias throws a quick inside leg kick.
Zacarias ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tuhoaja moves away.
Zacarias cracks the inside of Tuhoaja's front leg.
Nice defenses there by Tuhoaja.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Zacarias scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Zacarias throws a head kick but Tuhoaja moves out of range.
Tuhoaja avoids the head kick by Zacarias.
Tuhoaja throws a body kick the misses
and Zacarias counters with a head kick that drops Tuhoaja to the mat! Tuhoaja scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Tuhoaja is rocked!
Zacarias dances in with a quick combination. Tuhoaja is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Zacarias snaps Tuhoaja's head back. Tuhoaja stumbles backwards against the cage. Zacarias steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Tuhoaja's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Tuhoaja just didn't come prepared.
