The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montalo moves into the clinch.
Hammerstein wants to stall.
Montalo will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hammerstein up against the ropes.
Montalo struggles to land a body shot inside as Hammerstein controls his hands.
Montalo softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Hammerstein breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Montalo scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Montalo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hammerstein looks calm but he's in trouble here. Montalo gets his head over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hammerstein is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Montalo lets go of the hold and Hammerstein can pop his arm back in it's socket.
