Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Travius Klod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Melianko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fedor Melianko is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klod takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looks like Travius Klod has been cut.
Klod slips a jab and a cross from Melianko.

Klod fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Melianko sprawls well initially but Klod persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Melianko had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Klod is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Melianko Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Klod's back instead.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Travius Klod.
