The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Law fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lewis wants to clinch up but Law keeps it at a distance.

and Lewis counters by moving into the clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Law.
Lewis is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Law is keeping busy.

Lewis jumps guard and drags Law to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Law throwing strikes but missing.
Law wants to control from the top but Lewis keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lewis is on top in guard.

Law has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lewis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Lewis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Law on the ground.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Law is on top in guard.
Lewis can't keep his opponent in guard - Law advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Law thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lewis's head.

Law wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lewis keeps working.

Law is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lewis defends it well.

Law wants to take a breather but Lewis is having none of it.
Law is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Law tries to clinch but Lewis is having none of it.

and Law counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lewis's guard now.

Law postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lewis is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Law, into his guard.
Lewis wants to control from the top but Law keeps moving.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's time! Lewis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Lewis closes the distance and clinches.
Law tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Lewis cracks Law with a nice body shot.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Law takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Lewis wants to get back to striking at distance but Law won't allow it.

Lewis gets control of Law's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lewis will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Lewis lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Law!
Law is looking to improve his position but Lewis isn't that keen on the idea.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lewis seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Lewis is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Law sees it coming and defends easily.

Lewis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Law defends it well.
