Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Hetfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hetfield's entrance music is Battery. A fine choice. James Hetfield could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Brock Lesnar's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Hetfield!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brock Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar takes a jab right on the kisser.
Hetfield cracks a nice hook into Lesnar's ribs.
Hetfield throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lesnar tries to close the distance and clinch but Hetfield swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hetfield as he jumps to the side.
Hetfield stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hetfield wants it to stay on the feet.
Hetfield throws a series of punches but Lesnar avoids them all with ease.
Hetfield throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lesnar's head.
Lesnar throws a right and a left that Hetfield avoids nicely.
Lesnar walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Hetfield looks to land a combination. Lesnar sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hetfield rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lesnar moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lesnar closes the distance and clinches.

Lesnar breaks the clinch.

Lesnar feints and as Hetfield raises his hands in defense, Lesnar changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hetfield is breathing heavily.
Lesnar lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Hetfield keeping full guard, as Lesnar tries to pass.
Lesnar passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Lesnar tries to advance to mount but Hetfield instead regains half guard.
Lesnar controlling the pace.
Lesnar missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Lesnar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hetfield does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lesnar is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Hetfield keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Lesnar decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Hetfield misses with a hook. Lesnar ducked under it nicely.

Lesnar takes the fight into the clinch.

Lesnar jumps into guard, dragging Hetfield to the mat.
Hetfield throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Lesnar wants to stand up but Hetfield is controlling him.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hetfield accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Lesnar is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Lesnar uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Lesnar moves into range and clinches up with Hetfield.
Hetfield misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Lesnar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lesnar misses with a double jab.
A solid leg kick lands there for Lesnar.
Hetfield tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Lesnar counters by clinching up.

Hetfield working hard to break the clinch.

Lesnar manages to break the clinch.
Hetfield stuffs the takedown attempt from Lesnar. Lesnar gets slowly back to his feet.
James Hetfield has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Lesnar.
Lesnar tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Hetfield counters with a three punch combo that has Lesnar backing up. Lesnar nods at Hetfield to acknowledge the strikes.
Lesnar is looking to clinch but Hetfield is avoiding it.

Hetfield tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lesnar wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Lesnar is going olschool here, as he tries to force Hetfield to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hetfield shrugs it off.
Lesnar has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hetfield's face.
Hetfield tries to lock up and control but Lesnar gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Hetfield is bucking up trying to escape but Lesnar cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Lesnar is landing with some decent strikes but Hetfield is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Hetfield is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lesnar wants to finish this one by submission but Hetfield is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lesnar.
Hetfield is bucking up trying to escape but Lesnar cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Lesnar has control of Hetfield's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hetfield regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Brock Lesnar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Lesnar decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hetfield, up you get!
James Hetfield has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Brock Lesnar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Lesnar winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
