Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Saint Marcos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duncan Teliverty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcos's entrance music is Stemm - Face the Pain. A fine choice. Saint Marcos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Duncan Teliverty!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teliverty is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Teliverty will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Teliverty fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Marcos sprawls well initially but Teliverty persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Marcos wants to control but Teliverty is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Marcos might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Teliverty is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Teliverty postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Marcos to stand up.
Teliverty darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Marcos takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Marcos is trying to control Teliverty's posture but Teliverty avoids it.
Teliverty is looking to take a break and control but Marcos is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Teliverty tries to move to mount but Marcos blocks the move with his legs.

Teliverty decides to stand back up. Teliverty steps back and let's Marcos get back to his feet.

Teliverty wants to control from the top but Marcos keeps moving.

Teliverty really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marcos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Teliverty wants to free his trapped foot but Marcos is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Marcos is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Teliverty is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Teliverty is looking for a sweep. Marcos is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Teliverty wants to control but Marcos is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Teliverty is doing well to control the position and prevent Marcos from advancing to side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Marcos tries to pass to full mount but Teliverty defends it.

Marcos is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Teliverty doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Marcos.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Teliverty drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Teliverty tries to move into full mount but can't pass Marcos's legs.
Marcos struggling a bit here.
Marcos is not content to let Teliverty control the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Teliverty decides to stand back up.
Duncan Teliverty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Marcos moves out of range of the body kick from Teliverty.
Teliverty dives in and grabs Marcos's left leg, looking for a takedown. Marcos pushes down on Teliverty's head and hops out.
Teliverty shoots in looking for a takedown. Marcos tries to sprawl out of it but Teliverty keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marcos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Marcos goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Teliverty has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Marcos but great work by Teliverty.

Marcos is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Teliverty defends it well.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Marcos is desperately trying to improve his position but Teliverty has a good base and remains in mount.

Teliverty jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Marcos is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Marcos and Teliverty has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Marcos holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Marcos tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Teliverty has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Marcos is squirming around, avoiding Teliverty's attempts to control the action.
Marcos is trying to escape the mount.
Teliverty takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Despite being in the dominant position, Duncan Teliverty just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Teliverty fails to land with a series of punches.

Well Teliverty has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
