The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finnigan throws a nice looking combination but jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
jones takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Finnigan's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Finnigan duly obliges.
Finnigan scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
jones takes one on the button.
Finnigan is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches jones flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! jones is out cold! Finnigan holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
