Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cratos Apollo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Barreto Neto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charles Barreto Neto will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Apollo tries for a takedown but Barreto Neto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Barreto Neto waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Apollo. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Apollo to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Apollo. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barreto Neto is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Barreto Neto is looking to take a break and control but Apollo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee asks Apollo politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Apollo prefers to stall for the moment though.

Apollo is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Barreto Neto is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Barreto Neto is looking for a sweep. Apollo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cratos Apollo.
I think Barreto Neto has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
