Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bob pickerins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ellis Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). pickerins's entrance music is way of the fist. A fine choice. Bob pickerins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for pickerins!
Stone thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Stone tries to control but pickerins wriggling away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stone with the ground and pound from mount.
Stone trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Stone punching from mount but pickerins doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Stone landing shots from mount.
Stone throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for pickerins because Stone loaded up on that one.
Stone content just to control the position here.
Stone avoids the attempt from pickerins to control.
Poor strikes thrown by Stone there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Stone is going olschool here, as he tries to force pickerins to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so pickerins shrugs it off.
Stone looking to control but pickerins is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
pickerins tries to lock up and control but Stone gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stone trying to control but he's not successful this time.

pickerins wants to control but Stone is having none of it.
pickerins wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Stone.
Stone content just to control the position here.
pickerins working to try and regain half guard.

Stone unloads with some shots from mount but pickerins bucks and avoids them well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Stone pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
pickerins wants to hold on but Stone pushes him away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
pickerins is wriggling around trying to escape.
Stone content just to control the position here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ellis Stone dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

pickerins connects with a single shot there.
Horrible takedown by Stone or perhaps it was just good defense by pickerins which made him look bad.
pickerins throws a nice inside leg kick.
Stone throws a head kick that misses.
Stone misses with a low kick.
pickerins cracks Stone with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Stone takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
pickerins lands with a right that hurts Stone. Stone looks to clinch but pickerins throws a short knee that drops Stone. This one is all over!
