Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Grebovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Batista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grebovski comes to the cage accompanied by Ganglians - Valient Brave. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batista fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nice defenses there by Batista.
Batista shoots in looking for a takedown. Grebovski tries to sprawl out of it but Batista keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Grebovski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Batista takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Grebovski closes the distance and clinches.
Grebovski gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Batista.

Batista has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Grebovski is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Batista shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Grebovski's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Batista can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Grebovski cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Grebovski takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Grebovski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
