The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SilvA tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Baley paws at him with a jab and circles away.
SilvA closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
SilvA is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Baley kicks SilvA off and gets back to his feet.

Baley tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but SilvA was well out of range. Poor timing from Baley.
SilvA shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Baley napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
SilvA is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Baley can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
SilvA is going olschool here, as he tries to force Baley to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Baley shrugs it off.
SilvA has control of Baley's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Baley regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Baley's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
