Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saukkonen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Von Materhorn tries to clinch but Saukkonen moves out of range.
Von Materhorn could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Saukkonen attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Von Materhorn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Saukkonen's guard.

Saukkonen has control of Von Materhorn's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Von Materhorn regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Saukkonen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Von Materhorn is looking to escape.
Saukkonen is going olschool here, as he tries to force Von Materhorn to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Von Materhorn shrugs it off.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well Saukkonen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
