Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Veijo Kala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyoto Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machine fails to land the takedown.
Kala ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Machine moves away.
Kala displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Machine.
Machine shoots in for a takedown but Kala shows good takedown defense.
Veijo Kala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyoto Machine.
Kala swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Machine checks the leg kick.
Kala throws a body kick that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Machine fails with the takedown.
Machine changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kala tries to avoid it but Machine manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kala to the ground. Kala escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Kala counters with a right hand to the body.

Kala lands a big uppercut and Machine crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Machine looks OK. Kala waves Machine back to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kala lands a big right hand that sends Machine crashing to the mat! Kala stays standing though and waves Machine back to his feet!

Machine is rocked!
Kala misses with a looping left.

and Machine counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Kala misses with a double jab.
Machine stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kala.
Machine is trying desperately to land a takedown but Kala is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Machine.

Kala throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kala misses with a wild body shot.
Kala throws a quick inside leg kick.
Machine chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kala can pounce on him.
Kala throws a low kick but Machine avoids it.
Kala lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Kala pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Machine keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kala.

Kala lands a big head kick that sends Machine tumbling to the mat! Kala takes a step backwards and waves Machine back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Kyoto Machine has been cut.
Veijo Kala is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kala throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Machine.

Kala delivers a nice body kick.
Machine tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Kala lands with a nice combination. Machine backs away looking to recover.
Kala missing with a left hand there. Machine was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kala connects with a good right hand that stumbles Machine. Machine circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Machine throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kala counters with a solid body kick.

Kala throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kala throws a low kick, looking for Machine's leg but Machine calmly moves out of range.
Kala is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Machine checks a leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kala.
Machine checks the leg kick nicely there.
Kala throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Machine.
Machine has his takedown stuffed
and Kala counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kala's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Kala duly obliges.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Kyoto Machine's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kala throws a right and a left that Machine avoids nicely.
Kala swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Machine decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kala's guard.

Machine is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Machine won't allow Kala to get back to his feet.
Kala wants to sweep here but Machine controlling him for the moment.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kala is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Machine is controlling him.
Machine is standing up over Kala. Kala looks to escape but Machine dives into side control.

Machine has an Americana. Kala didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Machine is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Machine hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
