Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian Eisner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Payne comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Somebody's Gonna Get It kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George Payne! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Payne avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Eisner scores with a sloppy right hand. Payne should have avoided that one. Eisner throws a series of strikes that have Payne backpedaling.
Eisner moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Eisner jabbing away but nothing is landing. Payne scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Payne throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Payne thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Eisner is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Payne not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eisner slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Payne wants to control from the top but Eisner keeps moving. Payne pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Eisner is keeping the position for now. Payne passes easily into side control. Nice work. Payne tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. An elbow from Payne crashes against the mat.
Eisner can't do much from the bottom here. Payne stands up and we're back to a striking position. Payne pushes Eisner up against the cage in a clinch. Eisner tries to break the clinch but Payne is controlling the position. Eisner wants to get back to striking at distance but Payne won't allow it.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Eisner is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Payne's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Payne's back! Eisner avoiding Payne 's attempts to control his hands. Payne looks gassed! Payne is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Eisner gets his way!

Payne manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard. Payne trying to control the position from guard on top but Eisner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Eisner tries to land a sweep but no joy. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Eisner keeping full guard, as Payne tries to pass. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters circle momentarily. Eisner darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. The fighters circling - Eisner throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Eisner looks to land a left hand but Payne moved out of range nicely. Payne thows a left - swing and a miss! Payne takes a jab right on the kisser.
Eisner looks to throw the jab but Payne is out of range. Payne fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Eisner sprawls well initially but Payne persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Eisner is looking to improve his position.
Eisner is looking to control Payne's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Eisner avoid being mounted? The fighters are battling for position here. Eisner manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Payne wants to control from the top but Eisner keeps moving. Eisner is looking to stand up but Payne isn't so interested in that idea. Eisner pushes Payne off and scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Payne shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Eisner sprawls well. Eisner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Payne gets slowly back to his feet. Danga de danga de dang - Eisner scores with a four punch combination! Eisner scores with a three punch combo!
Eisner swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Payne. Eisner dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Eisner throws a good cross that connects.
Eisner connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Payne's hands. Brian Eisner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Eisner thuds his right hand into Payne's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Nice uppercut there from Eisner. Eisner throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Payne on the side of the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Payne is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Eisner.

Eisner obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Payne has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Payne fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Eisner uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Eisner scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Payne with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Eisner to score with a decent uppercut. Eisner lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Eisner scores with a jab. Eisner connects with a jab. A shot to de liver by Eisner. Beautiful body shot. Eisner scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Payne is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
