The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jax lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Jax decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Promon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jax's guard.

Jax avoids the body shot from Promon.
Promon throws a hook but Jax blocks it.

Jax drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jax wants to lay and pray for a moment but Promon keeps working.
Promon is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jax has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Promon sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
