Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Imum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderlei Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Imum comes to the cage accompanied by Candy Paint - Ken Tuck. Machida has chosen Concrete Schoolyard as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wanderlei Machida!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Imum avoids the head kick by Machida.
Imum fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Machida manages to avoid it.
Machida shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Imum as he avoids it easily.

Machida scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Imum looks like he's trying to stand up.
Machida trying to advance position but Imum counters by regaining guard.
Imum is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Machida stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Imum swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Machida looks gassed!
Machida prevents Imum from getting back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Imum misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Max Imum is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Imum misses with a two punch combination.

Imum lands a big head kick that sends Machida tumbling to the mat! Imum takes a step backwards and waves Machida back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Wanderlei Machida has been cut.
Imum throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Machida on the side of the head.

Machida is rocked!
Imum tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Machida is still on wobbly legs! Can Imum finish him?
Machida is trying hard to land a takedown here. Imum sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Machida ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Machida seems to have recovered his senses.
Machida uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Imum.
Machida on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Imum throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Machida.
Imum connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Imum throws a series of punches but Machida avoids them all with ease.
Machida scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Machida shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Imum as he avoids it easily.
Max Imum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wanderlei Machida.

Imum pushes Machida off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Max Imum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Machida takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Imum drops Machida with a beautiful combination! Machida stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Imum is looking for the KO!
Imum connects with a looping right hand.

Imum feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Machida sprawling to the canvas! Machida rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Imum finish him?!
Imum closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Machida! Imum dives in looking to finish! Machida is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
