The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gamma misses with a takedown attempt - Miller sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Miller misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gamma.
Miller slaps away a takedown attempt from Gamma, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gamma fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Miller swings for the body but Gamma moves out of range.
Miller fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Gamma counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Miller's guard now.
Miller has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Gamma off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miller is not content to let Gamma control the position.
The ground and pound from Gamma seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Miller pushes Gamma away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gamma gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Gamma is trying to get an arm triangle but Miller is defending well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Miller is not content to let Gamma control the position.
Gamma avoids the strikes from the bottom by Miller.
Gamma wants to control but Miller is keeping him busy.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Miller can do anything to dispel that myth.
Miller is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Miller throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gamma wants to free his trapped foot but Miller is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Gamma lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Miller is pressing down on Gamma's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Gamma trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gamma stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miller swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Miller not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Miller manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gamma manages to get himself to full guard.

Dog Gamma dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Miller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gamma looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Miller is fending him off so far but Gamma persists. Nope, Miller circles away and we're back to standing.

Miller gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Miller has his foot on Gamma's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gamma works his way back into a safe position though.

Gamma seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Miller for as long as he can get away with.

Gamma is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Gamma counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Miller!

Miller is looking to improve his position but Gamma isn't that keen on the idea.
Miller is squirming around, avoiding Gamma's attempts to control the action.

Gamma is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Miller pushes Gamma off looking to stand but Gamma dives back in and keeps control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gamma throwing shots but Miller is blocking nicely.
Gamma is trying to control. Miller wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Gamma is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Miller is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Gamma thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Miller's head.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Gamma counters with a shoot takedown. Miller fights it but they end up in guard.
Gamma postures up in Miller's guard and throws a big left but Miller blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Dog Gamma will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Miller scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Gamma manages to mount him!

Gamma has hold of Miller's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Miller manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Dog Gamma is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Gamma has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Miller is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

The referee warns Miller that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Dog Gamma showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gamma, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
