Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sue Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daemon Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter comes to the cage accompanied by A Boy Named Sue. Davies is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: am i demon. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies connects with a looping right hand.
Davies throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Carter takes a jab right on the kisser.
Davies stuffs the takedown attempt from Carter. Carter gets slowly back to his feet.
Carter is looking to clinch but Davies is avoiding it.
Davies punishes Carter's body with a nice straight punch.
A head kick from Carter lands but Davies takes it in his stride.

It looks like Daemon Davies has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Davies throws a sloppy head kick
and Carter counters with a nice body shot.
Carter swings for the body but Davies moves out of range.
Davies ducks right into an uppercut from Carter.
Carter keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Davies.

Carter has managed to clinch.
Davies looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Carter lands a hook that snaps the head of Davies backwards.
Davies prevents a takedown attempt there.
Carter lands a right hand.
Carter scores with a hook to the body.
Davies makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sue Carter. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Carter drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Davies pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Carter scores with a crisp jab that stopped Davies in his tracks.

Carter misses with a looping left.
Carter takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Carter takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Davies throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Carter.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Carter misses with a straight left.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Davies lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Carter has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Carter and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Carter takes one to the side of the head.
Davies throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Davies takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Davies misses with a low kick.
Carter bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Davies tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Carter lands with a slapping head kick.

The cut above Daemon Davies's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Davies cracks Carter with a right hand to the side of the head.
Davies connects with a nice looking jab.
Carter takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Carter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Davies paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Carter looks to land a left hand but Davies moved out of range nicely.
Davies fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Carter counters with a nice uppercut.
Daemon Davies is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Carter scores with a jab. Davies acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Daemon Davies's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Davies jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Davies avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Carter throws a jab but it's blocked by Davies.
Carter is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Carter throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Davies counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Carter lands with a slapping head kick.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Daemon Davies's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
