Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andro Babic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikael Ace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Babic comes to the cage accompanied by Boom - P.O.D.. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andro Babic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ace fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Babic sprawls well initially but Ace persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Babic pushes Ace off and gets back to his feet.
Ace wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ace shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Babic but Babic pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Babic tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ace paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ace tries to pull guard but Babic holds him up against the cage and eventually Ace drops back down to his feet.

Ace jumps guard but Babic stands there with Ace around his waist. Ace gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Andro Babic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikael Ace.
Ace's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Ace jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Babic walks away with a smile on his face. Ace gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
