The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gapuz avoids a kick to the body.
Gapuz throws out a loose jab but DeAngelo uses good head movement to avoid it.
DeAngelo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gapuz as he avoids it easily.
DeAngelo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gapuz throws out the jab.
Gapuz throws a lazy right hand but DeAngelo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
DeAngelo moves out of range of the strikes.
DeAngelo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gapuz bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops DeAngelo! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

DeAngelo has a closed guard, preventing Gapuz from standing up.
