Sartori comes into the arena with The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony blaring out of the sound system. Evan Sartori could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dwight Oleander's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oleander closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sartori tries to improve position but can't.

Sartori is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Oleander's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Oleander's back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sartori is trying to stick to Oleander's back but Oleander is turning into Sartori. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Sartori's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Oleander.

Oleander drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sartori looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sartori looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sartori!
Oleander looks gassed!

Sartori is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Oleander is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Oleander is not content to let Sartori control the position.

Oleander is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Oleander tries to lock up and control but Sartori gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sartori can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Oleander is looking to escape.
Oleander wants to hold on but Sartori pushes him away.

Sartori stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

and Oleander decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sartori's guard.

Oleander got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sartori has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Oleander has managed to get both his arms back between Sartori's legs - danger averted.

Oleander is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Oleander drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Oleander jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Sartori is looking to stand up but Oleander isn't so interested in that idea.
