PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sir Deric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Senen Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Senen Reyes told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Reyes gets caught flat footed, as Deric shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Reyes is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Deric is aware though and is defending well.

Deric stands and throws Reyes's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Reyes is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Deric off and has taken his back!
Reyes controlling well, preventing Deric from escaping the position.

Reyes jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Deric is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Deric and Reyes has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Deric is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Reyes is trying to escape and Deric transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Reyes is forced to tap! Nice work there by Deric! Very nice indeed!
